Sandra Weeks
President / Estimator

Working in construction for 30 years, Sandra has done it all from building cabinets, to estimating million dollar projects and successfully running one of the most competitive General Contracting companies in Boulder County. In 1997 she started Blue Spruce Construction and has been consistently named one of the Top Women Owned Businesses in Colorado, a Top 25 Boulder County General Contractor and one of the Top 250 Private Companies in the State of Colorado. Sandra believes in “giving back” which is reflected in the non-profit work she does (Past-President-elect and two-term Board Member for the YWCA Boulder, Past-President and two-term Board Member of Colorado Green Building Guild, Founding Member of Women Building Boulder and Advisor for the Bridge House in their efforts to locate a suitable building for housing their clients.  Sandra’s thorough cost estimates, excellent communication skills, industry knowledge and lasting relationships with her clients, the building department, sub contractors and employees are her keys to success.

Kathy Palm
General Manager

Kathy has over 25 years of construction experience that includes field work, drafting, safety, estimating and project management of hard bid, design-build and GMP projects. She holds a Class A Contractor’s License and is a Certified Project Management Professional. As General Manager, Kathy wears many hats; from calculating cost estimates, budgets, and schedules, selecting appropriate construction methods for the job and budget, supervising construction personnel to making sure the project meets all building and safety codes  and interfacing with clients and building professionals. Her quick wit and strong communication skills compliment the high standard of professionalism she employs in her leadership role.

Chip Madeley, PMP

Project Manager

Chip has been in the construction industry for 17 years. Throughout his construction management career, he has actively pursued a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the construction industry. Chip has moved up through the ranks from carpenter to project manager. The broad knowledge he has acquired has proved to be invaluable. By drawing from his early field experience as a carpenter, he has been a more effective construction manager, able to better conceptualize the project at hand, troubleshoot issues before they become difficult to manage, and more effectively work with owners, architects, and subcontractors. Chip is OSHA 30 certified, recently received his PMP credentials from The Project Management Institute, and is pursuing a Masters in Construction Management at Colorado State University.

Glenda Faus
Director of Sales

Glenda is a true “people person” and natural connector, providing the mutually beneficial connection between our clients, professional partners and our staff. She brings over 18 years of management, sales and marketing experience; the last 11 years having been in the construction field. Her relational-sales approach combines professionalism with a personal, friendly touch that lends to maintaining long-term relationships as well as forging new ones. Glenda makes herself available for all parties throughout the entire construction process from the start to finish of each project.

“I am intrinsically motivated to find a solution when I hear of any need. Finding the mutually beneficial outcomes for all involved is what I enjoy most in my role with Blue Spruce. Yes, we are a construction company however I personally don’t build the buildings.  I build relationships!”


Andrew Snyder

Andrew is a “guy with many talents”, mainly maintaining the day-to-day bookkeeping, and office management. He is often the first responder to incoming callers’ questions. In addition, Andrew enthusiastically takes on a variety of additional projects such as redesigning our company logo, coordinating a photo booth at a local non-profit golf tournament and has even spent time in the field swinging a hammer.

Brad Weeks


Growing up in the construction industry, Brad brings extensive knowledge and understanding of efficient, quality construction to each of his jobs. To ensure that projects stay on schedule, he communicates with the subcontractors’ onsite daily and oversees Quality Control. He holds excellent working relationships with building inspectors which is a critical component in maintaining forward progress. You can often find Brad with a hammer or drill in his hands, helping the sub-contractors complete a task on hand.

I also enjoy being able to see the project start as a concept and finish as a functional space that has a purpose designed for each clients individual needs.”


Bobby Dazey


Bobby is a seasoned construction professional, with over 35 years in the field. His wealth of knowledge makes him an asset on every job he is on. Skillfully, he schedules subcontractors and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion of each project. The attention to detail and quality mindset he brings to each project is one of a kind!
